Learn for Life Programme (LLP)
“Every Meridian is a Leader”
At Meridian Primary School, we believe in unlocking the leader in every child. Leadership is not limited to a title—it is about making a difference, inspiring others, and growing together.
Anchored on Kouzes and Posner’s Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership, we offer real-life opportunities for students to practise and apply their leadership skills across levels.
Lead with Purpose: Our Five Leadership Practices
We guide our students to lead through action using these five core practices:
• Model the Way – Be a role model through actions and words
• Inspire a Shared Vision – Dream big and rally others towards a common goal
• Challenge the Process – Think creatively and seek improvements
• Enable Others to Act – Build trust and work as a team
• Encourage the Heart – Celebrate efforts and recognise contributions
The Student Leadership Development Framework
We design our programmes to support students at every stage of their leadership growth:
• Lower Primary
• Learn basic leadership skills through class and level activities
• Build confidence in expressing opinions and making decisions
• Upper Primary
• Apply leadership in real-life projects and team activities
• Lead initiatives within class, school, and the wider community
Nurturing Passionate Student Leaders
